The Steve Allison who co-founded Allison IT Consulting in 2006 started in the 1970’s as a geeky teenager fascinated with electronics.  Pocket money was earned repairing TV’s and electronic things and the proceeds were spent on components to build electronic gadgets.

In 1978 Steve saw his first computer – the Commodore PET – in school, where it was dumped in a cupboard at the back of the maths class because nobody knew what to do with it.

With a group of like-minded young friends he would stay late figuring out what to do with this amazing thing.  No teachers at school had a clue so they were left to their own devices.

Then in 1981 he built his own computer (couldn’t afford to get one any other way).  He still has it and it still works.
